The Allmakes Group has always prided itself on its reputation
for supplying the highest quality range of parts for Land Rover vehicles of any
independent wholesaler. The vast majority of the parts that we offer are
purchased from Original Equipment Manufacturers.
Genuine spares are
usually supplied by Land Rover through their importer and dealer network, but
can now also be supplied by the Allmakes Group as we are an Approved
Parts Distributor.
Original Equipment Manufactured spare parts (OEM parts) are made
by the same companies that supply parts to Land Rover. They are usually made to
the same quality specifications, but are supplied in either the manufacturer's
own packaging or in Allmakes packaging. OEM parts can normally be supplied at
substantially lower prices than the same Genuine part.
Replacement spare parts can be separated into "Good
Quality" replacement spares and "Poor Quality" replacement spare
parts.
The Allmakes Group, if delivering replacement parts, only supply
"Good Quality" parts. These are usually manufactured by organizations
that supply other vehicle manufacturers with similar products. Replacement
spare parts can normally be supplied at substantially lower prices than the
same Genuine part.
There are many suppliers of "Poor Quality" replacement
spare parts. Typically such spares are made from inferior metals, or other
material, or they do not have the same manufacturing tolerances as Genuine or
OEM parts. In some cases the use of such spares is very dangerous, particularly
for safety related parts. Whilst these parts are often the cheapest on the
market, the Allmakes Group does not supply them. Retail owners should be
extremely wary of any supplier who claims to "be the cheapest".
All parts supplied by Allmakes undergo inspection by our Quality
Department. This emphasis on quality means that Allmakes is the only
after-market company that holds the ISO9001/2000 quality certificate for
"supply of Genuine, Original and Replacement parts for vehicles
manufactured by Land Rover".

inspect and price the parts ourselves.
All parts are stored indoor and must pass inspection and quality
assurance tests by our in house certified land rover technicians.
